AEM Developer Architect role in Centennial, CO (onsite) with Horizontal Talent, offering an hourly range of USD 33 to 67.

Architect and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade AEM solutions with a focus on maintainability.
Build custom components, templates, and workflows in line with best practices.
Lead AEM as a Cloud Service initiatives, applying cloud-native architecture principles.
Improve platform performance through configuration tuning and caching strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable reliable deployments and operations.
Provide technical leadership and drive architectural discussions within the AEM ecosystem.
Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple layers of the platform.
Define and enforce standards for security, accessibility, and performance optimization.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to raise engineering quality.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support knowledge transfer and scalability.

10+ years of software engineering experience with substantial delivery of AEM-based solutions.
deep expertise in AEM core frameworks, including Sling, OSGi, and dispatcher configuration.
Strong proficiency in Java and front-end technologies such as HTL and JavaScript frameworks.
Solid understanding of enterprise web architecture principles and scalable application design.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes-based deployments.
Familiarity with integrating AEM within enterprise marketing technology stacks.
Prior experience in a technical lead or solution architect role is a plus.
