Job Description

Experienced Oracle Developer based in Hampton, VA (onsite) with a proven track record designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle based solutions across U.S. client environments, focusing on enterprise database and application development, with a salary range of USD 110,195 - 132,709 per year.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and deploy Oracle driven solutions to support client business systems
Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, procedures, and functions
Work with stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Identify and fix Oracle database and application performance issues
Enhance performance through query optimization and indexing strategies to improve system efficiency
Perform code reviews and uphold coding standards to ensure quality deliverables
Maintain data integrity, security, and backup/recovery procedures within Oracle environments
Offer technical mentorship and support to internal team members and junior developers

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Oracle Developer or in a similar database role
Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, design, and data modeling
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming
Experience developing and managing database objects such as procedures, triggers, and packages
Ability to troubleshoot complex database and performance issues independently
Strong analytical and problem solving skills in a technical environment
Effective communication skills and ability to work in team-based project settings
